Day 001: Self Management
04-03I got most of my emotions and confusion out of my system. Well, at least at the moment it feels like I have. That gives me space to move on to the next step: managing myself. I allowed myself to stop working and that was my biggest mistake. I can't just let myself go, I need to get straight to whatever business needs to be taken care of. Yeah, yeah, find a balance between working and relaxing. Whatever. I don't need cliches. I don't need all those management tips or books that are out there. I need to find what works for me because those "golden rules" don't work or apply to me. I don't think they work for anyone else either. They're too general and they're everywhere. Since managing yourself is so difficult, I want to hear or read something that strikes me and actually works. I don't want, "schedule blocks of blah at bleb" because it doesn't work. My mind isn't a computer. There should be a way to manage yourself without becoming a machine. I frickin' tired mentally and physically so all this has to stop. I'm going to go to sleep after writing down this list, then I'm going to wake up early and plan out what I'm doing. I'll be back tomorrow. I'd say "goodnight," but who am I saying goodnight to? Who's reading this blog? Eh... shouldn't care too much about it. |
