Day 021: 2NE1
12-12

It's so amazing how my 21st day is when I saw 2NE1 in NYC during the Best New Band Concert.

Oh, I saw Common while standing in line. :D

YUNA was amazing. I really like her and I want to become a supporter of her music. She's so sweet and unique. I really like her voice.

Viva la Boheme was so fucking awesome. I really like these guys. They have a meaning that they stand strongly for.

Gyptian didn't get much love. Sorry nuh man. >.> (A group waited to see the artists leave. Everyone left after 2NE1 left. Gyptain probably stood there like "wut di ass is dis? where mi people gwan?")

2NE1 was. That's it. There WERE. I'm sooo glad I finally got to see them live without having to pay OD money or go to South Korea. Lord knows I can't afford either at the moment. It's a blessing that I got to see them. They aren't your typical girly girls. They have a special edge to them. Everything from their fashion to their music is unique. I wish I got to talk to them about music and being a musician, but this will do for now.

Also, Lady Gaga and Elton John were watching the performances. ^.^

Here's a funny little story:

W, G, A, J, a friend from high school and her friend and I were all waiting on the corner seeing if we could "accidentally" run into 2NE1 and get pictures or an autograph or both. The key word was BITCHIN if anyone saw them. Lovely, no? I see some Korean guys walk by and I think, "Why do they look so good?" Then it hit me. Those were the background dancers for 2NE1. I then said, "BITCHIN BITCHIN BITCHIN!!! Those are the background dancers!"

W was like this O.O and =0
J was kinda dumbfounded and couldn't speak.
G wanted to steal a jacket.
A was like O.O and OwO
I started walking after them and I turned and noticed everyone was frozen. XD

Lesson of that moment: If everyone is frozen, keep moving. They'll catch up later.

We got to see them leave the building though. I'm planning on downloading all their music like I always do when I find a group or solo artist I really like. I will buy the NEXT album they come out with hence why I refuse to listen to the GazettE's album TOXIC until I buy it myself. I have pretty much all their music. I said I would start buying it when they came out with something new and they did. I only buy your music if I truly support you and love what you do.

The wait was long and cold, but it's always worth it when you get to see who you waited for.

With that, I'll end this post, do the hygiene routine, dress, and sleep.

Note: I love being inspired by other true musicians who have something special to bring to the table.

Why hello there. Welcome. Come by and visit this blog whenever you'd like. Pick up a phrase or two or some ideas; whatever fancies you. I'm just the writer. Take something from my words, go, and do.

My real name is of no matter. For now, we'll stick with Kakurayami Reika. Ah, may age? I'll allow you to guess. :] I live in NYC, but my mind lies elsewhere. I'm a musician and I play electric & upright bass, piano, alto saxophone, guitar, drums, and harmonica all in that order. Order of ability to play of course. I love bass the most. ♥
