Day 013: Loughlin Family
I'm really missing my Loughlin family. This post was meant for Thursday, but I felt sick so I was K.O.'ed unless I was doing the draft for my English class.

On with the topic. I was talking to Melissa who I worked with as a house leader in my senior year at Loughlin and I remembered Cordero House. (Best house out of all 8.)

Our motto: I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul. 

That quote STILL lives with me. I'll never forget it.

I was wearing the first Cordero shirt and then I started looking for the 2nd one. When I found it, I found something that almost brought me to tears:

My Senior Shirt. All the signatures and messages from my friends were on it. I read through half of them, but I had to stop after that because all the memories and good times I had with those people came flooding back. They're coming back now as I type this and I'm slightly sad. I really loved those guys. I was tempted to look through the yearbook, but I think it's still a bit too early for that. I'll try to wait a year. I don't think I'll be able to wait until after I graduate college. That's a while.

I gotta remember that they would want me to do my best in college and that I want them to do the same. These were a wonderful group of people.

I'm hoping we have a reunion sometime this year when people come back from upstate, out of state, the navy, and the air force. I wouldn't want to go 20 years without seeing them. That would be... interesting now that I think about it.

Conclusion: I miss them. We had great times and they're ones I'll never forget.
