Where have I been? [14 February 2010]
14 February 201012:16AM So I haven't posted in this since 18 August 2009. I should win the "Most Updated Blog" award. >.> Where have I been? School. That demonic place can keep you away from your dear computer. I'm in Junior Band, Small Band, and about to be in Advanced Band. Why the hell don't I just major into music? BECAUSE I'M A LAZY BUM! THAT'S WHY! So right now I'm on Mid-Winter Recess which means no school for the week. It's 3:18AM and no one's online, so I'm going to try to end this blog post quickly. Currently my blog features Miyavi. He's epically hot, no? X3 I don't give a damn if he's married, in my mind he's mine. One of the songs currently on my page is Dies Irae by Karl Jenkins. I LOVE that song. I'm making a contemporary dance to it. It still needs some work though. When I say work I mean the dance is in my mind and I haven't done it yet because it requires such advanced technique that I don't have right now. So how the hell did I make it? That's for me to know, and for you to never find out. So I have fallen victim to twitter. @Gracefulx0Chaos for now. I doubt I'll change it and if I do, I'll update that on here. I've also started playing the alto saxophone. No one is teaching me. I'm learning from two books and getting some pointers from a friend (Thanks Wynter!) and I'm doing just fine. I'm learning Guns and Roses by Paradise Lunch and it's killing me. Here's the song if you're intrested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX7Pp7wY6sc I have two reasons for playing alto sax. Reason #1: I wanted to play a wind instrument again. I used to play harmonica and I loved how saxohphones sound (preferably the tenor and the alto) and decided to play it. Reason #2: Only three people in my Junior Band can play it well and out of those three only one sounds good. I'm not going to say his name, but it starts with a "K". He knows who he is. So yeah, all these people say it's "so hard" when it's actually pretty easy. I started learning in January 2010 and it took me about 3 weeks to have it down. Makes me wonder what everyone else that actually took the class is doing. My bass playing is coming along pretty well. I love my Rouge SX100B. I'd love to get a 5-string by Rouge, but if I do I'll abandon my 4-string. By the way, I named him Madara. Why? Because he acts just like him. He's an asshole, but he sounds sexy. Yes I called my bass a he. All good musicians name their instruments and give them a gender. Don't like it? Kotowaruze. My view on boys.... I'm saving that for my next blog post. All I can say right now is that they're ridiculous. I'm giving up on them until college. Then I'll start a boy hunt. XD A lot has happened over these uh... *counts* past 6 months and I'm too lazy to type all of that. I'm a lazy bum. You should all know that by now. Shout out to four girls I go to school with that I love: Wynter, Jackie, Asia, and Tori There's others that I love, you know who you are, but I love these four girls for life. There's some guys, but I'm not saying who they are... for now. I'll dedicate a blog to them later because they always make me laugh and help me keep a smile on my face.
